On Monday, September 24 at 7 PM, Dr. Michael Thiessen, pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Alliston, will be speaking on gender, sex, and dating based on his book Pursuing a First-Class Marriage: Finding the One Without Trying Many.
When Micheal Thiessen faced a health crisis in his family, he leaned heavily on his marriage. He realized that many couples don’t understand the differences between men and women. As a result, he wrote a book that unpacks biblical wisdom on sex and gender. His insights may surprise you, but he hopes they will lead you to greater understanding on an important topic.
Tickets are free. Buy your own meal and drinks; we will pass the hat to cover the meals and drinks of the speaker.
The pub will take place from 7 to 10 PM at Sarah’s Cafe (1426 Danforth Avenue) near Danforth and Coxwell. Please register by Friday, September 21 to reserve your seat.
