Leadership Challenge & Life

The Leadership Challenge, Third Edition is out. It’s one of those books that will I will end up reading multiple times. I have the first edition, but this one looks even better. It’s amazing how the right book appears at just the right time. It’s been a busy week. I’m gearing up for the Fall at church. It’s going to be challenging, but I’m excited about it. We have some important decisions to make, and I will need to stay on top of things even more than usual. Details to come later. The lowlight of last week was the five hours I spent in emergency after breathing in sulphuric acid fumes. I was trying to clear a clogged drain. The chemicals I used were so strong that they ate right through the drain. That may mean unclogged to some but it wasn’t what I had in mind. I developed a minor lung irritation. I can’t remember the Latin term, but the translation is something like “Next time, call the plumber.”
