The missional church

Pigs are flying: our denominational rag has published an excellent article called The Missional Church. There’s a disclaimer at the start (“Mark’s conclusions will seem too radical for some, even contrary to sound biblical exegesis”), but it’s in there, and the discussion has started. Encouraging stuff.

Update: Someone’s e-mailed me to suggest that “denominational rag” is a bit insulting to those who put it together. Actually, the magazine is better than it’s ever been, and we actually pay to receive it. My surprise is not that the magazine published a good article. My surprise is that the missional church is being discussed in my circles. That is good and encouraging — I hope something comes from it.
