Here's a thought, a quote, and a resource I wanted to share with you this Thursday.

I keep running into the same thought in Scripture:
“He makes a pit, digging it out, and falls into the hole that he has made.” (Psalm 7:15)
“Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, and a stone will come back on him who starts it rolling.” (Proverbs 26:27)
“Whoever misleads the upright into an evil way will fall into his own pit…” (Proverbs 28:10)
“He who digs a pit will fall into it...” (Ecclesiastes 10:8)
We dig a pit for others and then fall into it ourselves. Our actions boomerang on us.
I’m starting to get the message: Time to stop digging pits for others. It will reduce the chances of us falling in ourselves.

“God is not disillusioned with you. He had no illusions to begin with.” (David P. Cassidy)
