Hi subscriber,

Here's a thought, a quote, and a resource I wanted to share with you this Thursday.

One of my favorite Warren Wiersbe books is called In Praise of Plodders.

In my opinion, plodders are underrated. Plodders don’t stand out. Their work seems ordinary and boring. And we’d be lost without them.

A lot of life is about doing the ordinary with faithfulness and integrity. We never know what God accomplishes as we stay faithful doing mostly unnoticed work over long period of time.

I don’t know who needs to read this, but if you’re a plodder, keep going. What you’re doing matters more than you could know.

Thought experiment:

Let's say (1) all your past, present, and future sins are forgiven and thrown into the sea; (2) you are guaranteed to reach an unending paradisiacal heaven; (3) a Father who loves you more than you love yourself is tending to and overseeing every detail of your life; and (4) every pain big or little that washes into your life can only contribute to your final radiance and glory.

How would you live differently today?
