In Numbers 11, Israel complained that they don’t have meat. God responded by giving them meet: quail in such abundance that it’s stacked three feet high throughout the entire camp.
|
The punishment was getting exactly what they wanted. “While the meat was yet between their teeth, before it was consumed,” many got sick and died (Numbers 11:33).
|
Be careful of complaining to God about what he hasn’t given you. Sometimes what God doesn’t give us is a mercy.
